The Refraction of Light and Other Objects
April 19th, saw the premiere of the Refraction of Light and Other Objects at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The title work presented with three other premieres formed a program which is based on the concept of a live album.
A long with the premiere of the title work which is for Electric Viola and Synthesizer, the even also saw the premiere of a new work for The Creek that Never Was "The Drop" (Electric Viola & Laptop), and Fractured which was written for the Bay Area Ensemble The Mobius Trio, (Electric Guitar Trio).
The last work on the program was a revised version of Bluets, a multi-media work written for Living Earth Show, based on the book Bluets by Maggie Nelson. Narrated by Sarah James.

Choose your Arsenal No. 3 & 4 premieres at the Center for New Music
April 16th was the premiere of Parts 3 & 4 of Choose Your Arsenal, a collection of piece for interchangeable percussion. The piece was part of an event set up by the guys of the Guerrilla Composers Guild, who chose six composers to write for the talented percussionists over at SFCM.
Bluets: a multi-media work
March 29th saw the premiere of Bluets a multi-media piece by based on the book of the same name by Maggie Nelson @ The Center for New Music in San Francisco. The piece was written for the guitar and percussion duo The Living Earth Show (Travis Andrews and Andrew Meyerson).
